Rwanda will want to erase their two losses in Group A when they meet Libya in their third match of the 2017 CECAFA Senior Challenge on Thursday.

The Amavubi are not having a great tournament thus far, as they have lost twice in the group and a win will boost their morale.

A 2-0 loss at the hands of hosts Kenya on Sunday was followed by a 3-1 defeat by Zanzibar on Tuesday afternoon in Machakos.

However, coach Antoine Hey will now have a task ahead of him as they will want to bag their maiden win in the regional showpiece.

Rwanda occupy the bottom with zero points on the log table, they have conceded five goals and scored once.

On the part of the North Africans, Libya drew twice in the tournament so far and will also be chasing a victory in their third match as they appear as guests.

Goalless draws against Taifa Stars of Tanzania and Harambee Stars of Kenya means they are yet to score in the tournament.

They occupy the third spot in the group with two points from their two stalemates and coach Amr El-Mrimi must devise a plan to get a win.

Ahead of this encounter, the two nations have met six times and the Mediterranean Knights have three victories, two draws and one defeat.

This encounter will be played at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos, getting underway at 16:00 on Thursday.
